Growing up at the Jersey Shore and living just a few blocks from the beach meant that every day was a beach day!  Boogie boarding, snorkeling and searching for seaglass are happy childhood memories for Kim Palmer Downs.  After moving to Pennsylvania and realizing how much she missed the beach, she made seaglass jewelry to remind her of the surf and the sand. After 26 years in PA, Kim has moved back to her beloved beach and now lives and creates in Neptune, NJ.

 

A part-time project, a full-time passion!

After a long day at her full-time job in the marketing world, Kim uses power tools, metal and fire to unwind.  The result is a collection of handmade jewelry featuring lake stones, beads, shells and rare, frosty seaglass.  Each piece is created with high quality sterling silver, copper or brass and is made in her small studio in Neptune, New Jersey.
